Rick McCord - Vice President, Worldwide Sales

As vice president of worldwide sales, McCord is responsible for all direct and leveraged sales of Venafi products globally.

McCord brings over 20 years of enterprise software sales experience to Venafi. Prior to joining Venafi, McCord was vice president of Americas at LANDesk Software, where he led the Americas geography to record-breaking sales during challenging economic conditions. Before joining LANDesk, McCord served as vice president of global channel and alliances, where he was responsible for alliances sales that made up 75% of the Altiris business unit’s revenue. McCord joined Symantec as a result of their acquisition of Altiris where he worked in various executive sales and business development roles earning numerous accolades for channel development, quota attainment and revenue growth. Of his many achievements at Altiris, one of the most impressive was originating a strategic relationship with Dell. He grew sales through Dell to $80 million per year. Earlier in his career, McCord worked in sales roles at Netscape, Novell, WordPerfect and other technology companies.

McCord holds a bachelor of science degree in finance from Brigham Young University.
