Alan spent many years engineering trading systems for investment banks, among them Goldman Sachs and RBS. He later turned his attention to training engineers and was the sole education representative at Pivotal in EMEA when container orchestrators were gathering momentum. Most recently he was at AWS where he was the EMEA lead for their Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) course. At Jetstack, he pilots engineers and field teams to ensure their endeavours lead reliably to customer success. He believes that happiness is a choice and reinvention is a superpower.
