Virtual. Free. 100% Open Source.
Happening on October 18, KubeCrash is a virtual, free, and 100% open source-focused conference and the cert-manager team at Venafi is once again part of this highly popular event for open source learning. This time around, we'll dive deep into multi-cluster deployments at enterprise scale. Check out the program and register today.
Venafi is the principle maintainer of the open source cert-manager project and is one of the co-organizers of KubeCrash alongside other companies from the cloud native ecosystem, including Ambassador Labs, Civo, Cockroach Labs, Fairwinds and Buoyant. Throughout the day, the event will cover different scenarios involving multi-cluster deployments with a key session from Venafi’s Tim Ramlot on Simplifying Multi-Cluster Identities with cert-manager.
Multi-cluster deployments at enterprise scale
Join us as we learn from experts and explore best practices for managing enterprise-scale multi-cluster deployments. We'll integrate clusters with Linkerd for network cohesion, employ cert-manager for machine identity management, enable cost-effective cross-cluster communication with Emissary-Ingress, establish Kubernetes guardrails using Polaris, and ensure resilience with CockroachDB. Additionally, we'll demonstrate a seamless transition of the stateful app between clouds, achieving high availability and latency reduction in a multi-cloud setup. Gain practical insights from project maintainers on implementing multi-cluster deployments with open-source tools, learn from practitioners about pitfalls and lessons learned, and discover key CNCF initiatives' significance, such as the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Working Group and TAG Sustainability, through lightning talks.
Partners for Good
Why not do good while learning about cloud native tech? KubeCrash partners are teaming up to raise money for Deaf Kids Code. We'll donate $1 for each KubeCrash registration to the non-profit.
About KubeCrash
KubeCrash is a one-day virtual event focused for cloud native learning and this time we’ll be looking at how to
manage multi-cluster Kubernetes at scale. So join us for a series of in-depth discussions and practical learning sessions brought to you by a collective of open source companies at the leading edge of cloud native tech. No vendor pitches, just awesome open source content on projects such as cert-manager, Polaris, Linkerd, Emissary-Ingress, and CockroachDB. Check out the talks from KubeCrash Spring 2023 to get a sense of what to expect.
